What are the minimum system requirements?
We recommend at least a Pentium 4/1.4 GHz processor or equivelent and 512K RAM, Windows XP and above. The program will run on slower systems, but for optimal performance we recommend these minimum system
requirements.

Is there a Mac version?
Caricature Studio is not compatible with the Mac operating system, including Leopard.

Is my order secure?

Is the software available on CDROM?
Caricature Studio is available only as a digital download at this time.
Registering The Software
Where do I enter my serial code?
In version 6, you are prompted to enter your serial code the first time you launch. Or, go to Help/Register on the toolbar to enter your information.
My serial code isn't working!
Do not copy and paste, please enter your serial code manually. The serial code is CASE-SENSITIVE so if your code is all capital letters, you must also type in all capital letters.
Upgrading From a Previous Version
I purchased a previous version. How can I get version 6?
Version 6 is a free upgrade for version 5 users, If using a previous version to 5, please contact us for upgrade options. Please use the contact form to submit an upgrade request. Your original 2Checkout receipt number may be required to validate your previous version.
Accessing Your Downloads
How Do I Access The Software I Purchased?
Immediately following checkout you will be taken to the instant download page. You will prompted to enter a valid email address so that we may also send you the download information as a backup. Be sure to archive this email for future reference!
How Can I Dowload Additional Templates?
Subscribers to our mailing list receive free templates on occasion. You may also use templates from other vendors. Caricature Studio supports all popular graphic file formats.

Please open one of the emails from us. At the bottom you will see a link to Unsubscribe.
Terms of Use
Can I install on more than one computer?
Your purchase of Caricature Studio 6 is licensed only for a single computer. Each computer requires it's own license.
What is your privacy policy?
We will never share your email address or registration information. We require a double opt-in when you subscribe to email updates. This means you are required to confirm twice. This ensures that nobody receives our email that didn't specifically request it.
What is your refund policy?
Caricature Studio is warrantied for 48 hours from time of purchase against download errors, installation errors, compatibility issues (i.e. Mac not supported), application errors and registration errors.
Please report any download or registration issues within this time. Most issues are easily resolved. We encourage you to engage us if you encounter a problem with the software or receipt of the software.
We've put a lot of time and effort into developing Caricature Studio, so if you encounter a problem we'd like the opportunity to help.
Can I use the software for my business?
Under the terms of a standard user license, Caricature Studio may not be used for commercial purposes, or to produce media or products for sale. You must indicate acceptance of the EULA agreement in order to install the software. Special considerations for educational institutions.
If your school sponsors a PTA (Parent Teacher Association) or similar that is registered as a charitable organization under the Internal Revenue Code, Section 501(c)(3), please contact us if you'd like to use Caricature Studio in a classroom or computer lab setting. We strongly believe in promoting and nurturing creativity by supporting arts programs for children. Call your PTA President or Treasurer to verify status.
Technical Support
I cannot print or save.
You may be using using an unregistered version. Please purchase and register the software and unlock all features. If you have purchased the program and are still receiving this message, verify that your Windows logon account has administrative rights to the computer. The software is registered by adding an entry to the Windows registry during installation. If you do not have administrative access to the computer, the registry key cannot be written and you will receive a registration error when attempting to print or save.

I received a virus alert when installing!
We've seen rare cases of false positive virus reports during installation from Ashampoo Antivirus. This is an issue with this particular virus software, as reported by the editor of Download.com:
"there've been numerous false positive complaints, and scans detect all of your
Internet cookies as minor threats."
Rest assured, there is absolutely no trojans, spyware, adware or viruses of any kind in Caricature Studio.
I cannot download the file, or my download is corrupt.
Many firewall or security programs such as Norton, McAfee, Windows Firewall, and others may be set to block certain file types, including EXE and ZIP files. If you are unable to download the installation file or repeatedly receive an error that it is corrupt, temporarily disable any firewall or security applications that may be running and attempt to download and install again. After a successful installation, renable your security application(s).
What is a ZIP file and how do I open it?
A ZIP file is an archive of one or more files that have been compressed to reduce file size. It is extremely common for downloaded media or content to be delivered in ZIP format in order to reduce download times. ZIP support is native in Windows XP and above. To unzip a file, right-click the file and select Extract All on the shortcut menu. For Windows 98 or Windows 2000 users, there are many free programs available. Just do a search for "free unzip."

Why don't you reply to my email?
We reply to every email, and almost always the same day. If you're emailing us and not getting a response, it's likely due to your bulk or spam settings. We have provided some instructions to show you
how to whitelist email from NoveltyPhotoSoftware, preventing them from being deleted or sent to your junk folder. Please use these instructions as a guide and be aware that they may differ slightly for the various
versions of each email program you use. Or, simply contact us from another email account.Select your email program below:

Microsoft OutlookYou can add either the sender's email address or their domain name to the Safe Senders List.
- On the main menu, click Actions
- Then select Junk E-mail > Junk E-mail Options.
- Click the Safe Senders or Safe Recipients tab.
- Click Add.
- In the "Enter an email address or Internet domain name to be added to the list" box, enter the email or domain address you want added, and then click OK.
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each email or domain address that you want to add.
Note: To quickly add a sender, domain name, or mailing list name to the Safe Senders or Safe Recipients Lists, right-click the message you consider safe, and then on the shortcut
menu, point to Junk E-mail, and then click Add Sender to Safe Senders List, Add Sender's Domain (@example.com) to Safe Senders List, or Add Recipient to Safe Recipients List.
Yahoo! MailYahoo Mail uses combination of bulk mail folders and filters. If you are not receiving our email, check your "Bulk Mail". Look for email from "Carnisoft Support" and select
it. Choose 'this is not Spam' next to the 'From' field. To create a filter that our sends email straight to your Inbox:
- Login to Yahoo Mail.
- Click on "Mail Options" (on the right hand side of your screen).
- Click on "Filters" (on left hand side of screen).
- Click "Add" button.
- Assign a name for this filter: "NPS".
- Underneath the heading "if all of the following rules are true..." go to the top row labeled "FROM header." Next to this you will see a drop down menu. Make sure to select "contains", then simply
type "noveltyphotosoftware.com" into the box provided.
- At the bottom, where it says "Move the message to:" select "Inbox" from the drop-down menu.
- Click the "Add Filter" button at the bottom to add this filter.
Hotmail/MSNTo add our domain address to your "Safe List":
- Login to your Hotmail or MSN Mail account.
- Click on "Options."
- Click "Junk Mail Protection".
- Click on "Safe List."
- In the box provided type in "noveltyphotosoftware.com."
- Click the "Add" button.
- When you see the address you entered in the Safe List box, click on the "OK" button.
AOLTo add our domain address to your Address Book or Custom Sender List: *AOL9.0:
- Click the "Spam Controls" link (lower right area of your inbox).
- When the "Mail & Spam Controls" box appears, click "Custom sender list".
- Choose "allow email from" option
- Add "carnisoft.com" as a domain to receive email from.
- Click "Add", then "Save".
*AOL 7 & 8:
- Go to Keyword Mail Controls.
- Select the screen name you are using to receive email.
- Click "Customize Mail Controls For This Screen Name."
- a. For AOL version 7.0: In the section for "exclusion and inclusion parameters", include the following domain: carnisoft.com
b. For AOL version 8.0: Select "Allow email from all AOL members, email addresses and domains."
- Click on "Next" until the "Save" button shows up at the bottom.
- Click "Save."
Gmail
- Log into your Gmail account
- Click on "Spam" on the left side column of Gmail
- Check for email from "Caricature Software Support" in Spam list
- Select email
- Click the "Not Spam" button above the Spam listings
