Combining Images (Layers)

Caricature Studio works with layers. Each time you insert a clipart image or text, it is an independent layer. When working with filters and effects, always remember:

Any filter or effect applied will only be applied to the active selected layer.

The "active layer" is the last layer selected. You will see a selection box around the layer when it is active. If you're not sure, simply click the image or text to make the layer active. Only one layer at a time can be active. To apply a filter to all layers, you must first combine them into a single image.

Once you combine all layers, you will no longer be able to edit them individually.

Be sure you are finished editing the image before combining layers, because this action cannot be reversed.
